About the Opportunity
We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic and adaptable Supply Teacher to work in a primary school in Rochdale from September 2026.
This role offers an excellent opportunity for qualified teachers seeking work to make a positive impact on students' learning. You will be responsible for delivering lessons, maintaining classroom standards, and ensuring continuity of education in the absence of the regular class teacher.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging lessons across the primary KS2 & KS3 curriculum as required
- Follow school policies and lesson plans to ensure learning objectives are achieved
- Create a positive and productive classroom environment
- Manage behaviour effectively and promote high expectations of students
- Adapt teaching approaches to meet the varying needs of learners
- Provide feedback to school staff regarding student progress and classroom activities
What We're Looking For:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification
- Experience teaching within the primary school settings
- Strong classroom management skills and confidence leading lessons independently
- Excellent communication and organisational abilities
- A flexible and professional approach to working in different school environments
- A commitment to supporting students' academic and personal development
