Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Part-Time Cleaner to join our team as our previous cleaner has moved away. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness in the restaurant. This role offers flexible hours suitable for individuals seeking part-time employment, with a focus on delivering high standards of cleanliness in a professional environment. The ideal applicant will have previous experience in janitorial or commercial cleaning and possess a keen eye for detail.
Cleaning takes 2 hours per day and covers the toilets and main space of the restaurant. Cleaning is required daily Wednesday morning through to Monday morning and must be completed before 9am.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting in the restaurant area
- Clean, mop and disinfect toilets
- Empty bins and dispose of waste appropriately
- Maintain cleaning equipment and supplies, ensuring they are stored safely and used correctly
- Follow health and safety guidelines at all times during cleaning procedures
- Report any maintenance issues or damages observed during cleaning activities to management
- Ensure all cleaning duties are completed efficiently within scheduled timeframes
Experience
- Previous experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial roles is essential - references will be required.
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, equipment, and safety procedures is a must
- Attention to detail and organisational skills are vital to ensure high standards of cleanliness are maintained
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while adhering to company policies
