T he trader will be a team member of the:
FX Options trading desk
Representing the bank in OTC FX Options Markets
- To act Market maker for vanilla and semi-exotic products within the FX Options Perimeter
- Gain experience intelligence on his/her markets and comprehensive knowledge of the products dealt with
- Price FX Options and book them accordingly
- Manage their book and hedge risk appropriately
The trader will also focus on:
- Developing SG image/presence on the market through trading volumes and market presence
- Proposing new products in collaboration with financial engineering teams and sales force
- Supporting sales staff through client pitches /actively contributing to business development
- Developing trading strategies
- Assist in developing pricing models
- Specifying or developing IT tools (automatons, pricing engines...)
- Project Management (e.g. IT Projects)
- Provide pricing in other currency pairs during periods of holidays or sickness
- Provide Sales desks with trade ideas and currency flows to generate increased sales business
- Record all trades in line with procedures
- Actions any compliance breach immediately and with full explanation
- Liaise between front and middle office to ensure smooth deal processing
Other duties include:
- Hierarchical management of permanent staff/of trainees
- Business coordination or supervisory activities
- Manage the education and career paths of junior members of the team
- Ensure Counterparty trades are within credit limits

To assist in the self identification of all conduct related issues. Ensure escalation to appropriate stakeholder or function whether internal or external.
