We are working with an ambitious and inclusive secondary school in the Leeds area, which is seeking a Teacher of Spanish to start in September on a full-time, temp-to-perm basis.
About the role
The successful applicant will be joining a dedicated and supportive Modern Foreign Languages department within a well-resourced and forward-thinking school. You will work collaboratively with colleagues to deliver engaging and challenging lessons that inspire a love of languages and promote high levels of student achievement.
This is a full-time, long-term role with the opportunity to secure a permanent position within the school. The successful candidate will be expected to teach Spanish across Key Stages 3 and 4, planning and delivering high-quality lessons that meet the needs of learners of all abilities.

About you
- A qualified teacher with a formal teaching qualification (ECTs/NQTs will be considered for this role)
- Confident teaching Spanish at Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 to a range of abilities
- Strong subject knowledge and a passion for languages and education
- The ability to deliver engaging, differentiated lessons that motivate and challenge students
- Excellent classroom management skills and high expectations of behaviour and achievement
- Ability to think on your feet and adapt to new environments
- A commitment to raising attainment and ensuring all students make excellent progress
- A desire to work collaboratively with the wider department and contribute positively to the school community
- A commitment to supporting the school’s inclusive ethos and values
