We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Graduate Teaching Assistant to support a Year 4/5 class, working closely with pupils with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) and Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs.

What You'll Do:
- Provide tailored 1:1 and small group support for pupils in a Year 4/5 class with SEND and SEMH needs.
- Build positive, trusting relationships to promote emotional wellbeing, confidence and engagement in learning.
- Work alongside the class teacher and SENCO to deliver personalised learning strategies and interventions.
- Support pupils with emotional regulation, behaviour for learning and social development throughout the school day.
- Adapt learning activities to meet individual needs and encourage pupils to achieve their personal and academic goals.
- Monitor pupil progress and contribute to the ongoing assessment and review of support plans.
What We're Looking For:
- A degree (2:2 or above).
- A genuine passion for supporting children with SEND and SEMH needs.
- A patient, resilient and empathetic approach.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- The ability to build positive relationships and create a nurturing learning environment.
- Previous experience working with children, SEND or SEMH is desirable but not essential – full support and guidance will be provided.
