Texo Scaffolding is a well-established and growing scaffolding contractor delivering safe, reliable, and cost-effective access solutions across commercial, industrial, and residential projects. Due to continued growth, we are seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our team.
Role Overview
As Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for the commercial management of scaffolding projects from tender stage through to final account. You will work closely with project managers, site teams, and clients to ensure projects are delivered profitably and in line with contractual requirements.
Responsibilities
- Preparing and submitting accurate cost estimates, valuations, and final accounts
- Managing budgets and controlling project costs
- Producing and reviewing scaffolding tenders and quotations
- Measuring scaffold designs and schedules for pricing purposes
- Managing variations, change control, and claims
- Liaising with clients, main contractors, and suppliers
- Monitoring subcontractor payments and material costs
- Ensuring commercial compliance with contracts and company procedures
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor, ideally within scaffolding, construction, or access services
- Strong understanding of construction contracts and commercial processes
- Excellent numerical, analytical, and negotiation skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and relevant commercial software
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Full UK driving licence (preferred)
