We are bespoke high-end furniture makers and are currently looking for the right candidate to join our team.
We are looking for someone who's competent and takes great pride in their work. The successful applicant must be highly motivated, have an eye for detail, have excellent communication skills, be able to work efficiently in a busy environment as part of a team, or on their own.
Applicants must have a sound background knowledge and experience working within the timber finishing industry.
Skill levels required:
- Sprayer with experience in Polyurethane and water based products.
- A knowledge of staining/waxing and general wood finishing.
- Colour matching using different stains / products is a must.
- Developing new colours in line with current trends
- To be able to work independently using your own initiative and as part of a team.
Desired skills:
- Liquid metal
- Metal finishing
- Resin
- Veneer dyeing
The successful candidates must be self-motivated, energetic and enthusiastic. They would be polite, honest and reliable on timekeeping and be willing to do additional hours when required.
