The Role
We are recruiting a Support Worker to join our team on a permanent, part‑time contract (26 hours per week). The role is worked across Monday to Saturday, with regular overtime opportunities available.
You will support service users to engage in meaningful activities within the centre and local community, ensuring their safety, dignity and enjoyment at all times.
Key Responsibilities
- Support children, young people and families with disabilities and additional needs
- Encourage independence, confidence and positive social interactions
- Provide practical and emotional support in line with care and support plans
- Assist with activities, routines and group sessions
- Maintain a safe, clean and welcoming environment
- Keep accurate records and follow policies and procedures
- Work collaboratively with colleagues and other professionals
- Drive the Spring Centre minibuses when required (MIDAS training provided)
Essential Requirements
✅ Minimum 1 year’s experience in a similar support or care role
✅ Level 2 Health & Social Care qualification (or relevant NVQ)
✅ Flexible, reliable and able to work across Monday to Saturday
✅ Caring, patient and positive attitude
✅ Full UK driving licence (essential) – required for MIDAS training
