Working pattern: 45 hours per week; start and finish times vary; occasional nights out required for class 1 driver. Overtime as required to complete daily tasks.

We are looking for the right individual who will thrive in a customer driven, future focused, proactive and friendly environment to join our busy internal Transport Team as a Driver, based at our Baltic Wharf depot. The successful candidate will be joining us at an exciting time as we have invested in a brand-new fleet of vehicles, which have brought us to the forefront of safety for vulnerable road users, driver comfort and safety, while minimising future costs to the business. We have also recently achieved FORS Gold accreditation.

What the role is like
Our Driver role is incredibly varied, and the successful candidates will be asked to travel to different customer sites and Lemon depots. Therefore, the ability to be flexible and adapt will need to be demonstrated; no two shifts are likely to be the same and you may be asked to do occasional overnight work. You’ll be expected to have at least 1 year of driving experience, the right category on your driving licence and have your driver CPC. However, ongoing training will be given.
In addition, you will work alongside the production team to meet company deadlines. A good ability to communicate and have a positive attitude is therefore essential. Being a driver will come with its challenges. You will be expected to assist with loading if required and sometimes will have to work long hours. Being resilient and having an understanding of the business will be key.
