The Role: Complex Care Support Worker
Hourly Rate: £14.00 per hour, increasing to £14.50 per hour once competent.
Location: H2, Harrogate
We provide 24-hour, around-the-clock care. Shifts will include a mix of days, waking nights, and alternate weekends, depending on the package.
Contract Type: Permanent, with immediate start available.
We offer the below contract options:
Full time – 36 hours
Shift Pattern –
Days: 8:00 AM – 8:00 PM
Nights: 8:00 PM – 8:00 AM
- Shifts include a combination of days and nights.
DBS: Preferred / update service desirable
Driver with access to a vehicle: Required

- It’s important to note that we recruit with a person-centred approach, meaning successful candidates will primarily work on one of our packages based in a single location. However, there may be occasional opportunities to work across other packages within the area.
Training:
To be considered for this position, you will need:
- Flexible availability.
- A current DBS (Paper or Update Service)
- A driving license (preferred but not essential)
- To be able to work days, waking nights and alternate weekends
The Person You Will Be Supporting:

- You will be supporting a 40-year-old gentleman with Cerebral Palsy.
- He is wheelchair dependent, registered blind and requires hoist transfers.
- This is a one-to-one support role, so you will be working independently with the service user.
- He enjoys Tottenham Hotspur football team, anything to do with computers, and going out for lunch.
- You will play an important role in encouraging him to take part in activities and outings, while supporting him to maintain the best possible quality of life.
- A caring approach, positive attitude, and friendly nature are essential for this role.

Training

We are seeking highly motivated professionals with a caring demeanour, excellent communication skills, and previous care experience. Knowledge of complex care is an advantage. A positive attitude and friendly nature are essential, as you’ll be providing meaningful support and encouragement to enhance our clients’ quality of life.
