We are currently recruiting for an experienced Panel Technician to join our professional accident repair centre in Darlington. This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled Vehicle Panel Beater, Bodyshop Technician, or Automotive Repair Technician looking to develop their career with a modern, growing automotive repair business.

About the Role
As a Panel Technician, you will be responsible for carrying out high-quality structural and cosmetic vehicle repairs, ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to manufacturer standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Carrying out structural and cosmetic panel repairs on a wide range of vehicles
- Repairing, replacing, and aligning damaged vehicle panels to manufacturer specifications
- Using modern repair methods, welding techniques, and bodyshop equipment
- Completing repairs within productivity and quality targets
- Ensuring all work meets safety and compliance standards
- Collaborating with MET Technicians, Paint Technicians, and bodyshop colleagues to support efficient vehicle repair processes
- Maintaining a clean, organised, and professional workshop environment
Panel Technician Requirements
To be successful in this role, you should have:
- Previous experience as a Panel Technician, Panel Beater, or Bodyshop Repair Technician
- Experience working within an accident repair centre or automotive bodyshop
- Strong panel repair and vehicle alignment skills
- Experience with MIG/MAG welding techniques
- ATA accreditation or equivalent qualification (preferred)
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to high-quality workmanship
- A positive attitude, strong teamwork skills, and a professional approach
- A full UK driving licence
