General Packing Operative

Temp All Staffing are recruiting for a diligent and efficient General Packing Operative on behalf of our client based in Earls Colne. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely packing of goods, maintaining high standards of quality control, and supporting various warehouse functions.

Duties
- Prepare and pack products according to specified standards, ensuring accuracy and quality.
- Handle materials safely and efficiently
- Assist with shipping and receiving processes, ensuring timely dispatch and receipt of goods.
- Conduct quality control checks to verify product integrity before dispatch.
- Maintain a clean and organised work area, following health and safety guidelines at all times.
Shifts
- Monday - Friday 2:00pm - 7:30pm
Requirements
- Previous experience in warehouse operations or logistics is preferred
- Knowledge of materials handling techniques and warehouse management systems.
- Familiarity with shipping & receiving procedures, stock management, and picking & packing processes.
- Strong organisational skills with attention to detail to ensure accuracy in packing and inventory management.
- A proactive approach to safety procedures and quality standards within the warehouse environment.

Pay: £12.91 per hour
Experience:
- Picking & packing: 1 year (preferred)
Licence/Certification:
- Driving Licence (preferred)
