Overview
Guardians Recruitment is recruiting bank/agency carers and support workers to pick up shifts as and when needed for our clients across Swindon and the surrounding areas. We support both adult and children’s services, so you may work across a variety of settings depending on your experience and preferences.
This role is ideal if you want flexible work that fits around other commitments, with the option to take shifts that suit your availability.
Key responsibilities
Depending on the placement, you may be supporting with:
- Personal care and daily living support (where required)
- Promoting independence, dignity and choice
- Supporting individuals with behaviours that may challenge (where relevant)
- Maintaining a safe environment and following risk assessments
- Completing daily notes, incident reports and handovers
- Working in line with safeguarding policies and care/support plans
What we're looking for:
- Previous experience in care/support (adults and/or children)
- Driver with access to a vehicle is essential
- A calm, reliable and professional approach
- Training such as Moving & Handling, Medication, Safeguarding, PMVA/MAPA (or similar) Desirable
- Ability to travel to shifts in Swindon and nearby areas
- Enhanced DBS
- Right to work in the UK

Pay: £13.50-£16.00 per hour
Experience:
Licence/Certification:
- driving licence and access to your own vehicle (required)
- PMVA certificate (preferred)
- Enhanced DBS (preferred)
