Applications are invited for a 12month fixed term clinical fellow post in Ophthalmology. This is a full-time post providing specialty training for ophthalmologists at a relatively early stage of their career. Applicants should have completed two years in the specialty of ophthalmology. To start as soon as possible in Summer 2026.
This post is based at St Pauls Eye Unit at the Royal Liverpool University Hospital (RLUH), which is part of the Liverpool University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust (LUHFT).
The post is clinical with one session per week available for study, research and audit. There will be opportunities to contribute to clinical research and participate in audit and teaching.
Clinical activities include a range of sub-specialties and the eye emergency department. The post does include an out-of-hours commitment:
