We are recruiting for a full time Nursery Manager on behalf of a lovely privately owned 30 place nursery in North West London. This is a fantastic opportunity for a manager (or experienced Deputy Manager) who is passionate about delivering high-quality care and education within a smaller, more personal nursery environment.
Working closely with the owner, you will have the autonomy to lead the nursery and create a setting that truly feels like your own. Unlike many larger nursery groups, this role offers the chance to focus on quality, relationships and the children’s experience without the same level of corporate pressure often seen in bigger settings.
The owner takes a supportive and collaborative approach, remaining hands-off operationally to give the manager freedom to lead, whilst still offering practical support with areas such as funding, payroll and the financial running of the nursery.
The role of Nursery Manager will include:
- Managing the day to day operations of a 30 place Nursery
- Leading on quality and compliance across the Nursery setting
- Responsible for parent show rounds and registrations
- Managing a small team, leading, mentoring and inspiring them along the way
- Building excellent parent partnerships
- Delivering excellent Early Years practice
- Marketing and growing the nursery FTE's and then staff recruitment, respectively.
As the Nursery Manager you will have:
- Full and relevant childcare qualification, level 3 or above
- Previous experience managing (or deputising) a Nursery to a high standard
- Enjoy leading and motivating the team, role modelling best practice and mentoring
- Excellent parent partnerships
- Strong organisation skills and able to keep calm during time of pressure
