As we expand, we are looking for a reliable, Commercial & Industrial Kitchen Deep Cleaner to take full ownership of our heavy-duty kitchen deep cleaning projects. Because you will be our specialist on-site, you must be confident in managing safety, chemicals, and equipment isolation.
Key Responsibilities
- Specialist Kitchen Deep Cleaning: Lead the deep cleaning of commercial and industrial kitchens, including heavy degreasing of structural surfaces and catering assets (ovens, fryers, grills).
- Equipment Isolation & Safety: Safely isolate electrical and gas lines on commercial kitchen assets prior to wet cleaning to prevent damage or safety hazards.
- Chemical Management: Correctly select, dilute, and apply specialist industrial cleaning chemicals (including caustic and non-caustic degreasers) ensuring strict COSHH compliance.
- General Commercial Cleaning: Carry out property clearances, post-refurbishment cleans, and carpet cleaning across various commercial sites.
- UK Travel & Mobility: Travel to a variety of client sites across the UK, operating independently as well as leading a small support team on-site.
Requirements Essential:
- Proven experience in heavy-duty commercial cleaning, industrial cleaning, or property clearance.
- High attention to detail with the ability to manage own time and deliver results on live commercial sites.
- Capable of demanding manual labor, including heavy lifting and working at heights (ladders/platforms).
- Strong understanding of chemical safety (COSHH) and risk management.
- Excellent communication skills for client-facing updates and post-clean reporting.
- Full UK Driving Licence (and access to a car).
Highly Desirable (But Not Essential):
- Direct experience in commercial kitchen deep cleaning or ventilation/extraction hygiene.
- Industry certifications such as BESA Grease Hygiene Operative (GHO), TR19, or BICSc.
