WB Employment are currently recruiting for a Warehouse Administrator to join a busy, fast-paced warehouse operation. This role is ideal for someone with previous warehouse or logistics experience who understands the flow of goods in and out of a warehouse and can confidently support both operational and administrative functions.
This is a great opportunity for a highly organised individual who enjoys working closely with warehouse teams, transport departments, and supervisors to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
Shifts: Monday to Friday, 9:00am – 5:30pm
Job Purpose
The Warehouse Administrator plays a key role in supporting warehouse operations by ensuring all administrative processes linked to goods in, goods out, stock control, and transport are completed accurately and on time. You will act as the link between the warehouse floor and office-based systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Processing inbound and outbound warehouse paperwork including orders, delivery notes, and shipment documentation
- Accurately updating the Warehouse Management System (WMS) and maintaining live stock records
- Supporting goods in / goods out (GIR / GOU) processes and ensuring correct documentation is completed
- Managing PODs (Proof of Deliveries) and resolving discrepancies with transport and warehouse teams
- Liaising daily with warehouse operatives, supervisors, and transport planners
- Supporting stock control processes, including cycle counts and stock reconciliations
- Investigating and resolving stock or delivery queries in a timely manner
- Ensuring all warehouse paperwork is compliant with company procedures and audit requirements
- Handling general administrative duties within a busy warehouse environment
- Supporting reporting on warehouse performance and operational KPIs
About You
- Previous experience in a warehouse, logistics, or distribution environment is essential or strongly preferred
- Understanding of warehouse processes (goods in/out, stock control, dispatch)
- Confident using Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and warehouse systems (WMS desirable)
- Strong attention to detail with accurate data entry skills
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-moving warehouse environment
- Good communication skills and a team-focused approach
- Proactive, reliable, and willing to support operational needs on the warehouse floor when required
