Assist with monthly management accounts

Support month-end and year-end accounting processes

Prepare balance sheet reconciliations and investigate variances

Post journals, accruals, and prepayments

Assist with budgeting and forecasting

Support accounts payable and receivable functions

Reconcile bank accounts and monitor cash flow
-
Assist with VAT returns and compliance reporting

Produce management reports and financial analysis
-
Support audit preparation
-
Help improve finance processes and controls
-
AAT qualification (or near completion)
-
Experience in an assistant accountant or similar finance role

Good understanding of Management accounts

Reconciliations

Journals, accruals, and prepayments

VAT and compliance
-
Excel and accounting systems

Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
