Our client, a highly reputable premium independent garage in Ystrad Mynach, is seeking a skilled and experienced Senior Vehicle Technician to join their dedicated team.

- Basic salary up to £55,000 per annum, dependent on experience and current earnings

- No weekend work, Monday to Friday hours (8:15am - 5:15pm)

Duties of the Senior Vehicle Technician:
- Conduct vehicle servicing, routine repairs, and diagnostics with precision and adherence to dealer standards
- Responsible for larger repair tasks such as engine rebuilds and other complex repairs
- Accurately identify faults and report findings to the Workshop Manager
- Ensure all work complies with quality and safety procedures
- Assist in maintaining high standards of customer service and work quality
- Collaborate with team members to meet workshop targets and deadlines
- Document and update repair records thoroughly and accurately
Requirements:
- NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualification as a Vehicle Technician
- Proven experience as a Senior Technician or Master Technician, ideally working on premium brands such as JLR, Mercedes-Benz, BMW, or VAG
- Strong diagnostic skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Full UK driving licence with minimal points
- Motivated, reliable, and committed to delivering high-quality work
- Ideally reside within reasonable commuting distance of Ystrad Mynach
