Overview
We are seeking a self-employed Taxi Driver to provide reliable and professional transportation services. The ideal candidate will possess excellent driving skills, strong communication abilities, and a commitment to customer satisfaction. Duties
- Safely operate your own vehicle to transport passengers to various destinations within the local area.
- Ensure the safety and comfort of passengers during journeys.
- Maintain accurate records of trips, fares, and schedules.
- Perform routine vehicle maintenance checks to ensure optimal operation.
- Communicate effectively with passengers, providing assistance as needed.
- Handle luggage or heavy lifting when required, ensuring proper safety procedures are followed.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations, maintaining a professional driving standard at all times.
- Keep the vehicle clean and well-maintained, reporting any mechanical issues promptly.
Experience
- Prior experience in passenger transport or taxi services is advantageous.
- Strong communication skills to interact professionally with diverse customers.
- Ability to perform basic vehicle maintenance and recognise potential mechanical issues.
- Experience with heavy lifting or handling bulky items is a plus but not essential.
- Valid UK driver’s licence, must have been held for 2 years minimum.
