Overview
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Restaurant Manager to oversee daily operations within a busy dining establishment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a passion for hospitality, and a comprehensive understanding of food service and safety standards. Previous restaurant, culinary, or hotel experience is highly desirable, along with supervising and team management skills. Responsibilities
- Oversee daily restaurant operations to ensure high standards of service and quality.
- Supervise staff including servers, kitchen personnel, and baristas, fostering a positive team environment.
- Coordinate food preparation and cooking processes to meet customer expectations and safety standards.
- Manage food safety compliance by implementing proper handling, storage, and sanitation procedures.
- Assist in food production activities when necessary, ensuring timely delivery of dishes.
- Monitor service delivery to ensure excellent customer experiences and address any issues promptly.
- Organise staff schedules, training sessions, and performance evaluations to optimise team productivity.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation within the kitchen and dining areas in accordance with health regulations.
- Collaborate with suppliers for inventory management and ordering supplies as needed.
- Uphold hospitality standards by ensuring all guests receive attentive service in a welcoming environment.
Skills
- Proven experience in restaurant management or supervisory roles within hospitality settings.
- Strong leadership qualities with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team effectively.
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and culinary practices.
- Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices in food production.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask efficiently under pressure.
- Experience in supervising food service operations such as serving or barista duties is advantageous.
- Strong communication skills to liaise effectively with staff and customers alike.
- Ability to manage stock levels, organise schedules, and oversee daily operational tasks confidently.
