Job Vacancy: CCLD Co-ordinator (Children’s Care Learning and Development)

Salary Banding: £32,000 - £34,000 per annum
ROLE OVERVIEW
We are currently recruiting for an experienced CCLD Co-ordinator to join our team. This is a new role with the organisation.
The Childcare Co-ordinator will play a central role in supporting the delivery, quality, and consistency of Vocational Childcare provision across the organisation. Working collaboratively with Regional and Branch Managers, Tutors/ Assessors, and Internal Quality Assurance the postholder will help drive high standards in teaching, learning, assessment and learner achievement.
This role is focused on promoting best practice, supporting quality improvement initiatives and supporting a consistent learner experience across all branch locations.
Duties and Key Responsibilities:
- Co-ordinate and oversee teaching and learning within Childcare, supporting consistency and high-quality standards across provision. Liaise with Regional and Branch Managers where necessary.
- Support, mentor, and guide Tutors/Assessors to maintain excellence in teaching, learning, and assessment, including curriculum planning, delivery strategies, learner engagement and achievement.
- Plan and facilitate bi-monthly team meetings to share best practice, standardise delivery approaches and communicate key updates.
- Lead and facilitate standardisation meetings to ensure consistency in assessment decisions and delivery practices.
- Oversee and contribute to resource development, ensuring materials are current, relevant, inclusive, and aligned with curriculum and awarding body requirements.
- Monitor learner progress through regular review of portfolios and tracking systems, ensuring timely achievement and appropriate interventions.
- Conduct Internal Quality Assurance (IQA) activities where applicable, or support Lead IQA to ensure compliance with internal verification requirements.
- Prepare for and participate in Awarding Body Quality Assurance (EQA) visits, ensuring full readiness, compliance and dissemination of feedback and action points. If necessary, develop and lead implementation of plan to meet EQA action points.
- Lead the implementation, monitoring, and reporting of the Quality Improvement Plan (QIP), ensuring actions are completed within agreed timelines and impact is evidenced.
- Contribute to and oversee the development of the annual Self-Evaluation Report (SER)for the allocated area, including analysis of performance data, strengths, and areas for improvement.
- Analyse quality and performance data to identify trends, risks and opportunities, implementing improvement strategies as required.
- Support onboarding, induction and ongoing development of Tutors/Assessors, including delivery of targeted training and coaching.
- Ensure effective communication of organisational updates, curriculum changes and awarding body requirements to all relevant staff.

Qualifications / Experience:
- Minimum Level 2/GCSE English and Maths qualifications
- Minimum Level 3 qualification in CCLD discipline
- Minimum 2 years’ experience working within the Training/Education field
- Experience supporting learners through accredited qualifications
- Strong understanding of vocational Childcare qualifications and awarding body requirements
- Assessor qualification (e.g. TAQA, A1, D32/33 or equivalent)
- Full clean driving licence and access to transport
- Teaching Qualification - Minimum Level 4 Certificate in Teaching (Desirable)
