Overview
All Saints Academy is seeking a highly organised and proactive individual to join our team in a pastoral support and administration role. The pastoral support and administration role will provide student regulation support, attendance monitoring and administrative support for our pastoral systems across the school. The role focuses on ensuring accurate attendance tracking, responding swiftly to student welfare concerns, maintaining effective pastoral records, and supporting the smooth operation of the school's pastoral provision. The post holder will play a key role in promoting student engagement, safeguarding, and accountability through robust monitoring and communication processes.
Duties
- Provide pastoral support to students, staff, and the wider school community, offering guidance and emotional assistance as needed
- Assist with organising pastoral programmes, events, and activities that promote well-being and community engagement
- Maintain accurate records related to pastoral care, attendance, and student welfare
- Support the implementation of behavioural policies and contribute to creating a safe, inclusive environment
- Collaborate with teaching staff to identify students requiring additional support and develop appropriate intervention strategies
- Handle administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments, managing correspondence, and maintaining filing systems
- Contribute to the development of resources aimed at promoting mental health and well-being among pupils
- Assist in organising meetings, workshops, and training sessions related to pastoral care
Experience
- Previous experience in a pastoral support or administrative role within an educational setting is preferred
- Experience in teaching or working with young people will be considered an advantage
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Compassionate approach with the ability to build trust and rapport with students and staff
- Proficiency in using standard office software programmes such as Microsoft Office or Google Workspace
This is a term time only position, working 39 weeks per year.

Salary FTE: £26,824 - £29,540
Actual Salary: £22,972 - £25,297
Closing Date: 29th June at 9am
Pay: £13.90-£15.31 per hour
