An excellent opportunity has arisen within the Linen Services including Sewing Room for a committed individual to contribute as part of the Facilities Services team.
The post holder will be responsible for the day to day supervision and delivery of the Linen and Sewing Room services, at all times ensuring a high quality customer focused and cost effective service.
Working Monday to Friday (08:00 - 16:00) flexible working can be considered.
You will supervise the day to day operation of the Linen and Sewing Room service, ensuring wards and departments receive a high quality responsive service.
The role involves coordinating a small team, maintaining accurate data, supporting the administrative functions of the service, liaising with the external laundry provider and contributing to continuous service improvement.

As Linen Services Supervisor, you will coordinate the day-to-day operation of the Linen and Uniform/ Sewing Room service, ensuring a high-quality, responsive service is provided across hospital sites.
Key responsibilities include:
Maintaining accurate records, stock information and service documentation using computer systems.
Liaising with the external laundry provider to manage orders, stock levels, service queries.
Supervising and supporting a small team to deliver safe, effective and customer-focused services.
Planning and coordinating daily linen and uniform service activities to meet operational requirements.
Monitoring service standards through audits, stock checks and quality inspections.
Supporting the Sewing Room function.
Promoting safe working practices and compliance with Infection Prevention, Health & Safety and COSHH requirements.
This role would suit an organised and proactive individual with good communication skills, attention to detail and confidence using computer systems to support service delivery.
