KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
· Alongside the Manager, assist in the recruitment of suitably qualified people, to encourage a diverse workforce, help induct, support and continually review the training requirements of all staff to ensure that high standards are consistently maintained
· Attend regular staff meetings, and carryout 1:1 supervisions and appraisals as and when requested
· Help in the promotion of parent partnerships via the sharing of information, attending of parent evenings and encouraging parent input
· Ensure at all times, there is a child centred approach to the setting, ensuring that the observation and planning process meets the needs of all children irrespective of ability, culture, ethnicity or religion
· To ensure the teaching is to a high standard to allow children to reach their full potential
· Work alongside the Manager to ensure adherence to and develop new policies and procedures in compliance with legislation and regulations
· Work with Nursery Manager in regard to maintaining OFSTED registration. Ensure that any necessary changes/recommendations are implemented in a timely manner
· Carryout any purchase requirements of ENOOSC equipment and resources within agreed budgets and as requested by the Nursery Manager
· Working alongside the Nursery Manager, ensure all Child Protection, Health and Safety, SEN and Risk Assessment requirements are adhered to
· Provide staff with appropriate training to bridge gaps in their development
· Delegate on behalf of the Nursery Manager when they are not in setting
· Carry out any further ad-hoc duties that may be required
Pay: From £15.00 per hour
