Full-Time Radiology Administrator (2 Positions Available)
Are you organised, personable, and passionate about delivering excellent patient care? We are looking for two enthusiastic, motivated, and detail-oriented individuals to join our friendly Radiology Department.
As a key member of our team, you will provide essential administrative and clerical support in a busy, patient-facing environment, helping to ensure our Radiology services run smoothly while delivering an outstanding experience for every patient.
What You'll Be Doing
Welcoming and assisting patients in a professional and compassionate manner.
Coordinating patient appointments and supporting patient flow throughout the department.
Maintaining accurate patient records and performing data entry using the EPIC and ICE systems.
Providing administrative support to the wider Radiology team.
Contributing to the efficient day-to-day running of the department.
What We're Looking For
We're looking for someone who is:
Friendly, approachable, and patient-focused.
Highly organised with excellent attention to detail.
A confident communicator with strong interpersonal skills.
Comfortable using computer systems (full training on EPIC and ICE will be provided).
Reliable, proactive, and able to work effectively as part of a supportive team
Location: Aldershot & Farnham Hospital
Provide an efficient and effective service to both patients and other staff
Maintain a customer care approach at all times.
Support the introduction of Government, Trust, and Departmental quality and business initiatives.
Actively encourage feedback as part of the departmental quality initiative
Maintain the high standards of the department by contributing towards individual and team objectives
Maintain good communication and relationships with a number of stakeholders including patients and other users of the service
Convey factual information to patients, including children re: examinations;
To input patient details accurately into Radiology Information System EPIC .
Deal with telephone enquiries from the public in a discreet manner with empathy and sensitivity.
Liaise with GP practices, hospital staff and other associated agencies internally and externally of the Trust in a polite and courteous manner taking action where appropriate and passing information promptly to the appropriate staff.
The staff member will work in our different departments to assist with gaps in the rota and as per operational need
The post holder must be able to travel to our satellite sites on an ad hoc basis to cover other reception areas where necessary
The post holder will work closely with clinicians to ensure a smooth workflow and excellent patient care are delivered
