About Us
Pretoria BIO-TRUCK is part of the Pretoria Energy Group, a business at the forefront of renewable fuel production and supply in the UK.
We are the largest producer of BIO-LNG in the UK, with fuel production carried out at our own anaerobic digestion (AD) facility based in Cambridgeshire . This gives us full control over supply, quality, and long-term scalability.
Building on this foundation, Pretoria BIO-TRUCK has launched the UK’s first pence-per-mile truck leasing model, focused exclusively on BIO-LNG powered vehicles.
Our model provides a complete, integrated solution for fleet operators—combining the truck, maintenance, and fuel into a single, transparent cost per mile. The aim is to remove the complexity and upfront barriers typically associated with switching to alternative fuels.
By linking fuel production, vehicle supply, and ongoing support, we offer a practical and commercially viable route to decarbonising heavy transport—without compromising operational performance.
As demand for low-carbon solutions continues to grow, we are expanding our team to help drive adoption across the UK haulage sector.
The Role
We are looking for a self-motivated and driven individual to help grow the business.
This is a hands-on, field-based role focused on generating new business and building relationships within the UK haulage sector.
You will be responsible for promoting our unique pence-per-mile leasing model, which provides customers with a fully integrated solution—the vehicle, its maintenance, and the fuel—all wrapped into a single, transparent cost per mile.
The aim is to simplify the transition to BIO-LNG trucks, removing the traditional barriers around upfront cost, fuel supply, and ongoing maintenance.
Working directly with fleet operators and decision-makers, you will help customers understand the commercial and environmental benefits of switching to our model, while supporting them through the process from initial enquiry through to onboarding.
This is an opportunity to play a key role in introducing a new, practical approach to low-carbon transport in the UK, while helping to build a growing and innovative business.
Key Responsibilities
- Proactively identify and approach potential customers within the haulage industry
- Generate new business leads and opportunities
- Follow up on all enquiries quickly and professionally
- Build strong relationships with fleet operators and decision-makers
- Support the growth of our pence-per-mile BIO-LNG offering
- Travel across the UK to meet customers and attend industry opportunities
What We’re Looking For
- Self-motivated with a strong drive to succeed
- Confident communicator with good people skills
- Basic knowledge of the HGV / haulage industry
- Ability to work independently and take initiative
- Willingness to travel across the UK, including occasional overnight stays
