We have a great opportunity for a Cook working for a care home based in Hythe, Kent.
As an experienced cook, you will be responsible for preparing food to a high standard by also following the dietary requirements for everyone in creating and preparing specific dietary meals. Must have good knowledge of safe food better for business, ensuring all the paperwork is kept up to date.
You will be responsible for keeping the kitchen clean to a high safety standard and must have a level 2 in catering and hospitality or the equivalent or willing to work towards, must keep up to date with all training and a basic food and hygiene.
Shifts are from 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM, including a 30-minute unpaid lunch break. The role follows a two-week rota pattern, averaging 35 hours per week. The role follows a two-week pattern: in the first week, you will work on Monday, Wednesday and Thursday. In the second week, you will work on Monday, Tuesday, Saturday and Sunday.
