We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Community Care Workers to provide essential support and assistance to individuals in their homes and care facilities. This role involves delivering personalised care to enhance the quality of life for clients, including elderly adults, individuals with disabilities, or those recovering from illness. The ideal candidate will possess a genuine desire to make a positive difference in people's lives through empathetic caregiving and professional service. Responsibilities
- Assist clients with daily activities such as personal hygiene, dressing, and mobility
- Provide specialised care for individuals with Alzheimer's, dementia, or other cognitive impairments
- Support patients with medication administration and health monitoring under supervision or guidance
- Prepare nutritious meals tailored to dietary requirements and assist with feeding if necessary
- Facilitate engaging activities that promote mental and physical well-being
- Assist with light housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean and safe environment
- Drive clients to appointments, social activities, or errands as required
- Manage behaviour management strategies to ensure client safety and comfort
- Respond promptly to emergency situations with appropriate first aid procedures
- Document care provided accurately in compliance with organisational policies
Requirements
- Previous experience in assisted living, nursing home care, hospice care, or home care is highly desirable (experience not essential)
- Knowledge of patient care techniques including dementia, Alzheimer's, and senior care practices
- Certification in first aid is preferred; willingness to undertake relevant training if not already qualified
- Valid driving licence and reliable vehicle for client transportation duties
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients of all ages and backgrounds
- Ability to perform heavy lifting when necessary for mobility assistance or equipment handling
- Flexibility to work various shifts including mornings, afternoons, or evenings as required
- Compassionate attitude with a genuine interest in caregiving and supporting vulnerable populations

Pay: £13.45-£20.17 per year
