EYFS Teaching Assistants Wanted – Stevenage, Hertfordshire

We are looking for Teaching Assistants to support pupils within the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) in mainstream primary schools in Stevenage and the surrounding areas. You will work closely with teachers to help children develop socially, emotionally, and academically in a supportive and engaging setting.
The Role
- Support children in EYFS with their learning and development
- Assist the class teacher in delivering engaging, play-based lessons
- Help create a safe, stimulating, and supportive classroom environment
- Encourage positive behaviour and early social skills
What’s on offer
- Standard rate of £108 per day (higher depending on experience and qualifications)
- Full-time role: Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 4:00pm

Who we’re looking for
- A genuine passion for working with young children

- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Positive, resilient, and motivated
- Ideally, experience working in nurseries or early years settings
- Ideally, a Level 2 or Level 3 EYFS qualification
Backgrounds in Education, Childcare, Psychology, or Drama are highly valued but not essential.
