Overview
We are seeking dedicated Cleaners to join our team. The ideal candidates will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in a leisure facility in and around the pool areas, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals who take pride in their work and enjoy contributing to a tidy and organised space. Previous experience is preferred , but training will be provided.
This is a position that will be worked in the evenings, because of this you will need to be 18+ years old, hours are 5 days a week Monday - Friday 8.30pm to 11.30pm, with occasional weekend days to cover sickness and holidays. Hours will be discussed on interviews, but it will be 3 hours a day, totalling 15 hours a week.
DUE TO LOCATION AND TIMES OF SHIFTS YOU WILL NEED TO DRIVE AND HAVE YOUR OWN TRANSPORT.
Responsibilities
- Clean and sanitise designated areas, including floors, surfaces, and fixtures, using appropriate cleaning equipment and products
- Ensure all areas are maintained to high standards of cleanliness and hygiene
- Dispose of waste materials responsibly and replenish supplies as needed
- Report any maintenance issues or hazards to management promptly
- Follow health and safety guidelines at all times during cleaning activities
- Maintain a organised storage of cleaning supplies and equipment
- Cleaning areas such as changing rooms, hosing down pool side, steam rooms and saunas.
Requirements
- Basic communication skills in English, both written and verbal
