General Manager – GOLDIE'S
We are seeking an experienced and driven General Manager to lead our team at GOLDIE'S, a BRAND NEW Bar and Slice Shop in Liverpool City Centre.
This is an excellent opportunity for a hospitality professional with a proven track record in food and beverage operations. The ideal candidate will combine strong leadership skills with a genuine passion for service, an eye for detail, and the ability to deliver outstanding vibes and atmosphere whilst maintaining brand guidelines.
About the Role
As General Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the operations, ensuring that service standards, food and beverage quality, and guest satisfaction are consistently delivered at the highest level. You will lead from the front, managing and developing your team while driving both the operational and financial success of the business.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, inspire, and develop the front and back of house teams.
- Ensure consistently high standards of service in the dining room.
- Oversee the planning and execution of private events to a premium standard.
- Demonstrate strong food and beverage knowledge, ensuring product quality and team training.
- Manage budgets, cost controls, and KPIs to achieve financial targets.
- Drive recruitment, training, and team development.
- Ensure compliance with all licensing, health and safety, and food safety regulations.
- Be a visible and approachable presence, fostering strong relationships with guests and the local community.
About You
- Previous experience as a General Manager (or senior management role) within a hospitality environment.
- A proven ability to maintain and elevate service standards.
- Strong food and beverage knowledge, with the confidence to train and inspire your team.
- Commercially aware with experience in managing budgets and financial performance.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Hands-on, professional, and guest-focused approach.
