RG Consultancy are proud to be working with a successful manufacturing company based in Wrexham who are looking to recruit an experienced Financial Controller. This is a brilliant opportunity for a part-qualified/qualified ACCA or CIMA candidate to oversee a team and develop their career within a growing SME business; QBE candidates will also be considered.
Key responsibilities:

Oversee the day-to-day management of the finance function.

Prepare accurate and timely monthly management accounts.

Manage budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow planning.

Lead the month-end and year-end processes.

Ensure compliance with all statutory requirements.

Manage the annual audit process and liaise with external auditors.

Develop and maintain financial controls, policies, and procedures.

Analyse financial performance and provide strategic recommendations.

Support senior management with business planning and commercial decision-making.

Mentor and develop a team of 5 within finance

Previous experience in a Financial Controller or senior finance position.

Experience managing and developing finance teams.

Advanced Excel skills and experience with ERP/accounting systems.
