We are seeking a professional and vigilant SIA Door Supervisor to ensure the safety and security of patrons and staff at our venue. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing access, maintaining order, and providing excellent guest services in a busy environment. This role offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic setting, contributing to a safe and welcoming atmosphere for all visitors. Prior management experience and a background in hospitality or guest services are advantageous.
Responsibilities
- Manage entry and exit points, verifying identification and ensuring compliance with venue policies
- Monitor guest behaviour to prevent disturbances and respond swiftly to any incidents
- Enforce venue rules and regulations while maintaining a courteous and professional demeanour
- Conduct regular patrols of the premises to identify potential security risks or hazards
- Assist guests with enquiries, providing excellent guest services to enhance their experience
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during shifts
- Handle any emergencies or conflicts with calmness and authority, following established procedures
- Maintain accurate records of incidents or unusual activities during shifts
Experience
- Previous experience in management, security, hospitality, or guest services is preferred
- Valid SIA Door Supervisor licence is essential
- Strong communication skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure are required
- Experience working in busy environments such as clubs, events, or venues is advantageous
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations relevant to security operations
