Pit Stop Cafe is looking for an experienced cook to join our friendly and growing team.
We are based inside Chester Road Motorcycles in Shotton and serve breakfasts, hot and cold sandwiches, burgers, jacket potatoes, cakes, drinks and daily cafe food. We are looking for someone confident in a busy kitchen who can work independently, keep standards high and help us continue building the business.
The role is initially part-time, but additional hours are expected to become available shortly, either at Pit Stop Cafe or at another nearby location due to business expansion.
Immediate start available for the right person.
The role will include:
Preparing and cooking breakfasts, sandwiches, burgers and general cafe food
Keeping the kitchen clean, organised and compliant with food hygiene standards
Helping with stock control and daily preparation
Working efficiently during busy periods
Providing friendly support to the front-of-house team when needed
We are looking for someone who:
Has previous cooking or cafe/kitchen experience
Can work confidently without constant supervision
Is reliable, punctual and well organised
Takes pride in food quality and presentation
Understands food hygiene and kitchen safety
Is flexible and willing to grow with the business
Food hygiene certification would be an advantage, although further training can be provided for the right person.
Hours are part-time to begin with, with more hours available soon. Weekend availability may be required.
