Early Years Practitioner L3 (Full-Time)
Location: Tinkerbells Nursery Ltd "The Bridgeinn" Penwortham Setting
Hours: 7:30 am – 6:00 pm, Monday to Friday
Salary: Dependent on qualifications and experience
Reports to: Manager / Assistant Manager
About the Role
As an Early Years Practitioner, you’ll play a key role in supporting children’s development and well-being through engaging, play-based learning. You’ll work closely with our experienced team to deliver the EYFS curriculum in a nurturing and imaginative way. We’re looking for someone who is caring, creative, and proactive — a practitioner who puts children at the centre of everything they do.
Key Responsibilities
· Provide high-quality care and education in line with the EYFS.
· Plan and deliver engaging, child-led activities indoors and outdoors.
· Support children’s learning, language development, and curiosity.
· Maintain a safe, inclusive, and stimulating environment.
· Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and carers.
· Follow all safeguarding, health, and safety procedures.
Requirements
· Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Early Years or Childcare (or working towards).
· Minimum 1 year of experience in an early years or nursery setting.
· Strong knowledge of the EYFS and child development.
· Awareness of paediatric first aid and allergy response procedures.
· Commitment to food allergy and intolerance safety.
· A reflective, caring, and enthusiastic approach to working with children.

Additional Information
Full-time position, Monday to Friday, between 7:30 am – 6:00 pm. Two references and an enhanced DBS check will be required before starting.
