We are seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to oversee a warehouse operations and to look after a small team.
This is a hands-on role that requires strong leadership skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Whilst being hands on you will need to get involved in shunting so you will need to have a full UK drivers licence. Also you will be involved in using a Counterbalance Forklift although training will be provided.
Daily duties are likely to involve
- Supervise and coordinate warehouse activities.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies
- Oversee the use of warehouse management systems to track inventory and monitor productivity
- Manage the allocation of resources to meet operational targets
- Train and develop warehouse staff on proper procedures and best practices
- Conduct regular inspections to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions
- Collaborate with other departments to optimize warehouse processes and support business objectives
- Resolve any issues or discrepancies related to shipments, inventory, or equipment- Maintain accurate records of stock levels, orders, and deliveries

What we need from you
- Proven experience as a Warehouse Supervisor, Team Leader or similar role
- Full UK drivers licence
- Be able to work x2 days (6am - 6pm) followed by x2 nights (6pm - 6am) followed by x4 off.
