Essential Requirements
- Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) Licence
- Current Driver CPC Qualification
- Valid Digital Tachograph (Digi) Card
- Flexible approach to working hours, including weekend work when required

- Good communication and organisational skills
Desirable
- Previous tipper driving experience (preferred but not essential)
- Knowledge of the construction, aggregates, or haulage sectors

The Role
As a Class 2 Tipper Driver, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of materials across Scotland, primarily throughout the West and Central Belt. While most work is local and regional, there may occasionally be opportunities to travel further afield.
You will play a key role in ensuring deliveries are completed safely, professionally, and in line with all legal and company requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate HGV Class 2 tipper vehicles safely and legally at all times
- Complete daily vehicle inspections, defect reports, and vehicle condition checks
- Ensure all relevant delivery and customer paperwork is completed accurately
- Communicate professionally with customers, site personnel, and colleagues
- Adhere to all road transport regulations, health and safety procedures, and company policies
- Report any vehicle defects, accidents, incidents, or near misses immediately
- Maintain high standards of vehicle care and cleanliness
- Deliver excellent customer service while representing the company professionally
- Manage workloads independently while working remotely from company premises
Working Hours
- Standard working week of approximately 40 hours Monday to Friday
- Overtime opportunities available
- Flexibility required to work weekends when operationally necessary
- Start and finish times may vary depending on workload and customer requirements
