Lead delivery of complex, high value change across a major enterprise portfolio
-
Shape how change is delivered and the value it creates across NFU Mutual
-
Hybrid role with a balance of home and office-based working in Stratford-upon-Avon
As Head of Enterprise Portfolio Delivery, you will lead the Change Delivery function and be accountable for delivering Group Change across the Enterprise Change Portfolio. In this pivotal leadership role, you will be at the centre of how change is delivered across NFU Mutual, overseeing a complex portfolio of strategic programmes and ensuring delivery is aligned to business priorities and executed successfully across time, cost, quality and scope. You will also ensure change delivers meaningful outcomes for our customers, our people and NFU Mutual.
You will bring clarity, pace and alignment across the portfolio, ensuring priorities are clear, plans are realistic and momentum is maintained. Working across multiple programmes, you will manage interdependencies, identify risks early and keep delivery on track.
A key focus of the role is shaping and embedding a consistent enterprise approach to delivery, strengthening how change is delivered across NFU Mutual. This includes driving greater consistency, improving risk management and enabling faster learning and stronger value realisation, supported by communities of practice and shared insight.
From the outset, you will ensure NFU Mutual is set up for successful delivery by balancing demand with capacity, assessing capability needs and supporting effective prioritisation so commitments are realistic and achievable.
Operating at a senior level, you will work closely with stakeholders across NFU Mutual, providing insight, challenge and direction to support decision making. You will help leaders navigate complexity, understand delivery trade-offs and protect the outcomes that matter most.
As a leader, you will create the conditions for high performing teams to thrive, setting clear expectations, providing effective oversight and fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration and continuous improvement.
An experienced and credible change leader, with a strong track record of leading complex portfolios in large organisations.
A combination of strategic perspective and delivery discipline enables you to bring clarity to complexity, align priorities and maintain focus on the outcomes that matter most, while operating at pace and making sound judgements in a fast-moving environment.
Strong enterprise change expertise underpins your ability to lead large scale delivery while maintaining a clear view of risk, dependency, capacity and value. This is complemented by the ability to translate strategy into executable plans and create the conditions for sustainable delivery.
As an influential senior stakeholder leader, you build trusted relationships, offer constructive challenge and communicate with clarity and confidence at executive level, helping shape decisions and navigate complexity.
A strong people leader, you create an environment where teams can perform at their best, providing clarity, support and accountability while building capability, strengthening delivery maturity and taking a pragmatic, commercially aware approach to decision making.
