The Role
As a Commercial Property Solicitor, you'll manage a varied caseload of commercial property transactions while becoming a trusted adviser to a broad range of business clients.
This is an excellent opportunity for a solicitor, lawyer, or fee earner who enjoys combining high-quality legal work with business development and client relationship management.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a varied caseload of commercial property transactions from instruction through to completion
- Advise on commercial property acquisitions and disposals
- Draft, negotiate, and advise on commercial leases, acting for both landlords and tenants
- Handle lease assignments, lease surrenders, and lease renewals
- Advise on SIPP purchases and leaseback arrangements
- Manage option agreements for landowners and developers
- Handle residential lease extensions and collective enfranchisement matters
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve departmental objectives and contribute to continued team growth
- Support business development activities, identify new opportunities, and help expand the firm's commercial property offering
What We're Looking For
- At least 3 years of commercial property experience
- Experience advising on acquisitions, disposals, commercial leases, landlord and tenant matters, and property transactions
- Commercially minded with a proactive approach to business development
- A collaborative team player with high professional standards and a commitment to delivering exceptional client service
