About the job:
The role involves working as a Carpenter, focusing primarily on carpentry tasks within both commercial and residential properties in London. Responsibilities include delivering building maintenance services and utilising broad experience across various trades, with an emphasis on carpentry. This opportunity is ideal for those with previous experience in the building maintenance sector and a comprehensive understanding of maintenance duties in either commercial or residential settings.
Duties will include but not limited to:

Chipped woodwork

Broken door closer
-
Installation and hanging doors

Installation and hanging cupboard doors

Adjustment to doors
-
Repairs to furniture
-
Installation of shelves
-
Installation of window restrictors
-
General Carpentry
-
General Maintenance / Handyperson duties
-
Procurement of materials and equipment to carry out works.

Completion of work sheets via our mobile app

This is a mobile role
Required qualifications and experience:
-
Expertise in carpentry
-
Experience in multiple trades such as plumbing, painting, and general repairs.
-
A hardworking, reliable work ethic, flexible as overtime & OOH works may be required depending on client or job requirements.

Previous experience in maintenance and building environments, ideally within commercial or residential sectors.

A HSE understanding
-
Full UK Driver’s License (not essential)

Previous use of handheld technology / smartphone

Take pride in doing everything you do to the highest standard

A good communicator, who understands the importance of customer service.

Minimum 5 years of experience in the building industry

City and Guilds qualifications or equivalent

Salary: £35,000 - £40,000 per annum
