Nolvera Ltd is recruiting on behalf of one of our clients for an experienced and compassionate Reablement Assistant to support adults in a specialist reablement setting.
Successful candidates will be employed by Nolvera Ltd and assigned to work within one of our client reablement unit based in the central area of Liverpool. It aims to assist individuals and help them improve and retain their independence through planning and enablement.
Working with families as well as other agencies, to ensure a full range of co-ordinated services are delivered.
Reablement assistant will meet the physical, social and emotional need of service users as agreed in the care plan, to promote independence and enhance their living skills
In the role as a Reablement Assistant you will assist service users with tasks as agreed in support plans.
In the role of a Reablement Assistant you will work with individuals to improve and maintain daily living skills, using appropriate equipment whenever required
Our Reablement Assistants will encourage individuals to maximise their potential in skills required for interdependent/assisted living in the community, including kitchen skills, household maintenance, washing of clothes, and encouragement of their own health care within a safe and supportive environment
You must have and be able to demonstrate:
- NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care or willingness to work towards certification
- Care skills including moving and handling, safeguarding and infection control.
- Experience of working in an adult social care setting
- Ability to follow a designated reablement programme
- Good verbal/written communication skills
- Ability to relate to others effectively
- Listening skills
- Work flexibly between 8am and 10pm on a rota of shift pattern
Pay: £14.93 per hour

- Do you have at least 3 years experience supporting adults following hospital discharge or within a reablement service?
- Do you hold a full UK driving licence?
- Are you willing and able to work shifts between 8:00am and 10:00pm, including weekends and bank holidays?
- Do you have experience in care skills including moving and handling, safeguarding and infection control.
- Do you hold an NVQ Level 3 Diploma in Health & Social Care (or an equivalent qualification) or willing to work to achieve this?
- Can you attend a face-to-face interview in Liverpool if shortlisted to show evidence of your skillsets (certifications)?
