Overview
We are looking for a caring, professional and motivated Qualified Dental Nurse to join our friendly and supportive private dental clinic. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting our clinicians, ensuring a smooth patient journey, and contributing to the delivery of high-quality private dental care in a safe and welcoming environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist clinicians during a wide range of dental procedures, ensuring efficiency, patient comfort, and excellent clinical support.
- Prepare and maintain treatment rooms, ensuring all necessary instruments, equipment, and materials are ready prior to appointments.
- Deliver outstanding patient care by welcoming patients, explaining procedures, and addressing any questions or concerns.
- Maintain accurate and confidential patient records in line with practice protocols and data protection requirements.
- Ensure all dental instruments and equipment are cleaned, sterilised, and maintained to the highest standards.
- Support the effective management of appointment schedules to help optimise daily practice operations.
- Provide patients with clear post-treatment advice and instructions to support their ongoing care.
- Adhere to all health and safety, infection prevention, and cross-contamination control procedures at all times.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- A recognised Dental Nursing qualification.
- Previous experience providing patient care within a dental practice environment.
- Excellent communication skills, with a professional and compassionate approach to patient interactions.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage and prioritise tasks effectively.
- Good IT literacy, including confidence using digital patient records and practice management software.
- The ability to work collaboratively within a team while also being able to use your own initiative when required.
- A sound understanding of current health and safety regulations and best practices within dentistry.

Hours: 8.30am - 5pm (Hours to be discussed, full or part-time considered)
