Job description
We are currently recruiting for an experienced HGV Mechanic to join a busy and well-established workshop in Northampton. This is a great opportunity for a skilled technician to join a professional team, working on a wide range of heavy goods vehicles in a modern and well-equipped environment.
Key responsibilities
- Carry out servicing, maintenance, and repairs on HGVs
- Diagnose faults and complete repairs efficiently
- Perform routine inspections and safety checks
- Ensure all work is completed to a high standard
- Adhere to DVSA and health & safety regulations
- Work effectively as part of a team to meet deadlines
Requirements
- Proven experience as an HGV Technician / Mechanic
- Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
- Relevant qualifications (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent preferred)
- Good understanding of HGV systems and maintenance practices
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
