Brook Street Recruitment is delighted to be partnering with a well-established and successful client in Ballyclare to recruit a Parts Controller / Estimator for their busy Bodyshop operation.

As Parts Controller / Estimator, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth and efficient running of the Bodyshop by managing vehicle parts, supporting repair estimates, and helping deliver an exceptional customer experience.
- Order, receive, and manage parts required for vehicle repairs
- Check incoming parts for accuracy and quality, ensuring they are allocated to the correct jobs
- Maintain accurate stock levels, produce stock reports, and carry out stock checks
- Prepare and process repair estimates, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail
- Submit estimates to customers and insurers in a timely manner
- Obtain authorisation for repairs and manage supplementary estimate requests
- Provide regular updates to customers and colleagues on repair and estimate progress
- Assist with job card preparation and invoicing when required
- Plan and prioritise workload to ensure repairs are completed within agreed timescales
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organised working environment in line with Health & Safety procedures
- Support Bodyshop Management with additional duties as required
- Previous experience in a Parts Controller, Estimator, Bodyshop, Vehicle Repair, Automotive Parts, or similar role
- Technical knowledge of vehicle repairs within a Bodyshop environment (light or heavy vehicles) would be highly advantageous
- Strong IT and administrative skills
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- A professional approach when dealing with customers, suppliers, and colleagues
- A proactive, team-oriented attitude and a keen eye for detail
