Salary: £20 Per Hour
Shift pattern: Approx. 5-hour round trip | Once or twice per month. Please note your availability to work both Fridays & Mondays is essential.
We are seeking a reliable and professional driver to support ad hoc journeys on Fridays & Mondays, approx. once per month). The role involves driving a wheelchair accessible vehicle (WAV) and supporting safe transport.
Key Requirements:
- Full UK clean driving licence
- Minimum 3 years’ driving experience
- Willingness to drive a wheelchair accessible vehicle (WAV)
- Availability on Fridays and/or Mondays (flexible/ad hoc)
- DBS certificate (or willingness for employer to apply and fund)
- Fluent in English
Training & Compliance (Paid):
You will be required to complete:
- Half‑day AA Advanced Driver Awareness course
- Online training:
- Safeguarding Adults & Children
- Health & Safety
· First Aid
· Moving & Handling / Manual Handling
- Possible in‑person session with an Occupational Therapist for:
- Safe client transfer
- Manual handling techniques
