Duties
- Assist dentists during a variety of dental procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety
- Prepare treatment rooms and sterilise instruments in accordance with health and safety regulations
- Provide pre- and post-treatment care instructions to patients
- Maintain accurate patient records using IT systems
- Manage appointment scheduling and patient correspondence efficiently- Reception duties
- Support patients with their queries, offering reassurance and clear communication
- Ensure the clinical environment remains clean, organised, and compliant with infection control standards
- Be proactive
- Support the administrative team with general office duties as required
Qualifications
- recognised qualification as a Dental Nurse (GDC registration or equivalent)
- Proven experience in patient care within a dental setting is desirable
- Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively
- Good IT literacy, including familiarity with dental practice management software
- Ability to work well within a team and demonstrate professionalism at all times
- Knowledge of current health and safety regulations relevant to dental practice
