An opportunity has arisen for a Transport Operations Assistant to join our business, ASH Waste Services based at Widnes.
Working on site the Transport Operations Assistant, under the direction of Operations Manager, will coordinate the day to day planning and efficient and effective routing of work for the fleet to complete all required work. The role will liaise with customers to understand and manage their contract requirements whilst managing all day to day issues that arise and finding solutions. In addition the role will liaise as first point of contact for drivers for queries and holiday booking as well processing all required documentation, site reception, enquires and general office duties.
The successful candidate will ideally have recent experience of working within a fast paced transport operations, undertaken planning or routing vehicles. With excellent communication (written and oral) and inter-personal skills the successful candidate will be able to work in a team and organise, prioritise workload to meet deadlines and demonstrate a high level of attention to detail.

Pay: £26,436.80-£28,000.00 per year
