Whiskey & Seaweed is the signature cocktail bar connected to Core by Clare Smyth, a restaurant defined by excellence, precision, and warm hospitality. We are looking for a talented Bartender to join our team and help deliver a bar experience that reflects the same attention to detail, creativity, and care that defines Core. This is an exciting opportunity for a bartender who is passionate about cocktails, spirits, and guest experience, and who wants to work in one of London’s most respected hospitality environments.
About the role
As Bartender at Whiskey & Seaweed, you will be responsible for creating and serving exceptional drinks while delivering polished, intuitive, and engaging service. You will play an important part in shaping each guest’s experience, working closely with the wider front-of-house team to maintain the highest standards at all times.
What we are looking for
- A skilled bartender with strong cocktail and spirits knowledge
- A genuine passion for hospitality and guest care
- A calm, professional approach in a high-standard environment
- Excellent attention to detail and pride in consistency
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Experience in premium bar, fine dining, or luxury hospitality is preferred
- A positive attitude, eagerness to learn, and commitment to excellence
Key responsibilities
- Prepare and serve cocktails, spirits, wines, and other beverages to an exceptional standard
- Deliver warm, knowledgeable, and refined service to every guest
- Maintain cleanliness, organisation, and mise en place across the bar
- Support stock control, ordering, and daily bar preparation
- Uphold all health, safety, and licensing standards
- Contribute ideas, energy, and professionalism to a collaborative team culture
