Duties of the Vehicle Technician:
- Conduct vehicle repairs, servicing, and diagnostics efficiently and accurately
- Carry out vehicle fault diagnosis using specialist equipment
- Maintain high standards of workmanship and quality control
- Assist in technical troubleshooting and advise customers on necessary repairs
- Keep accurate records of work carried out and parts used
- Support the workshop team to meet productivity targets and customer satisfaction
- Adhere to health and safety protocols and company policies
Requirements for the Vehicle Technician position:
- Full UK driving licence
- NVQ Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or equivalent
- Proven experience working in a professional vehicle workshop
- Confidence in repair, servicing, and diagnostic work
- Ability to work independently and take responsibility for your tasks
- Ideally hold a current MOT licence
- Experience with electric/hybrid vehicle systems (Level 3 EV/HV) is advantageous
- Manufacturer training and ongoing professional development willingness
